#TestimonyTuesday! #Restoration to the family!

At a recent baptism service, a husband testified that he wanted to see his family restored and dedicated to the Lord, as he boldly proclaimed what Jesus had done for him. God answered his prayers and moved on his entire family. His wife and two sons joined him, and each person was baptized. The Lord moved in a powerful way and Jesus is still in the business of restoring families!

At a recent Sunday service, Pastor Jimmy was sharing testimonies about God's healing power. Afterwards, the response for prayer was tremendous. Several people were healed of various ailments. One sweet lady tossed her walking cane aside as faith was activated and her pain left! The testimony of Jesus surely is the spirit of prophecy! Receive a fresh touch today and be healed in Jesus' name!

At a recent mid week service a young women came up for prayer for her knee, that she recently had surgery on, and the healing process wasn’t going well. Her knee was swollen and she couldn’t walk without assistance. Thankfully Dr Jesus had the proper prescription. After a few short prayers, her pain noticeably went down. As she continued to walk in faith, tears streamed down her face because all the pain was gone! Thank you Jesus for being the same yesterday, today, and forever!

My older Brother David was angry with the Lord and blamed Him for the loss of our our Brother in 2018 and then his own wife last year. My Brother allowed me to still minister to him on the phone or Skype because we are very close but would always respond "That's nice, I'm happy that it is working for you but it's not for me". His negative response to my numerous attempts to minister to him did not deter me from continuing and even increasing my efforts. I knew that my prayers alone would not be enough to reunite my Brother David and The Lord so I called on reinforcements to help me do battle with the devil to get my Brother back! I asked all the Men at the Men's Bible Study to pray for David and also filled out a prayer request online. Yesterday, David called me, I could tell immediately in his voice that he was happy and full of joy, the Peace that can only come from our Lord Jesus. And then he told me, I'm back with God, and I'm reading and studying the Bible daily again! He then said to me that the Holy Spirit was telling him to tell me that the prayers helped, So, that recognition from my Brother David is confirmation that Prayer Works! My Brother David's Back! Praise be to God and thank you to everyone in my Church Family for all your prayers, God Bless and Keep On Prayin! :)

I got to the dentist yesterday, and was seated in the room.
Doctor came in and took out his tools to check my tooth.
As he hit the bad tooth with his metal tool there was NO pain! NONE!
I was like WHatttt?
There’s no pain, I told the dentist.
Then he took his finger and pushed down on it- still no pain- it was all gone.
Believe me when I say there was so much before he checked it.
I slept through the night with no pain.
So we are completing the root canal to save the tooth.
 
The Doctor's office called me and said they could finish it this Wednesday morning.
That someone had just called to cancel.
God Wink!
Love those God Winks so much.
Before then, they didn't have an opening for a while.
 
God is so faithful and loving!

One of our young adults had pain in their lower back for the last three years. Doctors couldn't figure out what was causing the problem and the only solution was more tests and pain medication. Thankfully Dr. Jesus had the proper prescription! After a few short prayers all the pain was gone... Jesus truly is the same yesterday, today, and forever!

"I'm so excited about what God is doing in my life!! I wake up every morning, make my bed, and get on my knees next to it - and tell the Lord what I feel good about, what I'm grateful for, and all the goals He has for me!! My life has changed completely since I learned to trust God completely!!"

Last Fall, I had intermittent gut issues that became consistent by January. I knew I had to see the doctor when my symptoms persisted. I began to await a three-month time frame for a colonoscopy. In the waiting, I prayed and fasted to see this procedure through. The test results came back and showed inflammation. Although the symptoms continued, my consciousness of God's presence trumped the result and symptoms. During prayer a few weeks later, I felt God showing me that I needed to leave the salon where I was working and that this was not primarily a physical matter but instead a spiritual one. After I verbally spoke- out loud, that I was resigning, my symptoms stopped! Thank you, Jesus, for answering my prayers and showing me what I needed to do!

Six years ago, I came to Desert Chapel broken and didn't have a relationship with God; I began to build a relationship by accepting Jesus into my heart and getting baptized. At that time, I started to pray for my family to know the Lord as well. Last Sunday (five years later), my brother, his girlfriend, and his son were baptized! Thank you Jesus! Even when I didn't see it, He was working. Those who pray for their family's salvation, be encouraged to keep believing and praying because only God knows when that day will come; His timing is divine.

Recently, at a Wednesday night Ignite service, one of our high school senior athletes had pain in his right elbow. I have known Riley for three years and know he has a very high pain tolerance. If he tells me his elbow hurts, I know it hurts. We commanded the pain to go and for healing to flow in Jesus' name! The pain left! Riley was playing volleyball shortly after and pitched in his baseball game the next day! Jesus cares about every situation in our lives; He is never bothered by our requests! Take Him at His Word. Don't stop believing!

Easter Sunday, I ordered in the drive through while on my way home from church. I pulled out the debit card to pay, only to be told my bill was paid for by the lady in front of me driving a Honda Pilot. Her message read " Happy Easter and thank you for your service". I was shocked and left speechless. I had on my camouflaged ball cap with the words United States Navy written on a small patch. That's it! She must have a great heart and eyesight.  This encounter is a Salvation message to all. Jesus paid a debt in full that He didn't owe and He is the pilot who went ahead to pay our debt! Thank you, Lord!

Last Friday, I decided to drive from Orange County to the DC Friday night Young Adult group, and boy, I was blessed. Pastor Tim preached fire; after service he laid hands on me and gave me a personal prophecy. I can say, there has been a definite spiritual change in my life! I was so touched that I even felt to give financially to Desert Chapel on top of what I was already giving to my local church! I'm so thankful for Desert Chapel and all that God is doing there!

During a recent Wednesday night service Pastor Tim said that he felt that there was someone experiencing pain in their left shoulder. Anyone who was experiencing left shoulder pain was asked to raise their hand and so I did, I had injured my left shoulder at the gym and was experiencing a great deal of pain. Pastor Tim then stretched out his hand toward me and said a healing prayer. Afterward, he asked that I try raising my left arm and rotate it and asked how it felt. My response was "It felt like new!" I was able to go back to the gym the very next day and exercise my left shoulder without any pain! Praise God! Thank you Jesus!

Last Sunday at the end of service, when Pastor Jimmy prayed over all of us, I felt a release in my sciatic nerve. I have had sciatic pain for 40 years and have tried so many things to get relief. I have continued to pray, knowing that I am already healed, and on Sunday I received the manifestation of that healing. I cannot give Jesus enough praise for what He has done for me. Praise Jesus and thank you all for your continued prayers and love for my family. Love you all.

Yesterday, I was heading to Target to pick up a few things when I saw a young man selling candy bars out front. I wanted to bless him by buying a few bars but more importantly I wanted to bless him spiritually! I asked Kieman if he ever had anyone prophesy over him before... He had not. I told him he would love it and as I started praying I saw a picture of Jesus touching his mom. I felt she was sick and needed a healing. I saw that even though she was going through a battle she was worrying about her son. I then saw two groups of friends. One were godly friends sent into his life to help and encourage him on his walk and the other were not godly friends. I told him God has brought the godly ones to keep him safe but he must choose to follow them and not the other crowd. I asked him if anything I said made sense?  He told me his mom had been in the hospital with lupus but was now doing much better! He also knew the friends I was talking about; praise God! I laid hands on him and asked God to fill him with the Holy Spirit and guard his walk as He continues the life of faith! I often think how many of these encounters are available for us everyday. Help us Lord to think of others and to step out in faith. In Jesus name for Jesus fame!

I am a nurse at Desert Chapel school and was asked what it is like to come in and out of the office with the little ones when they get injured or hurt. I believe its much more than a band-aid or an ice pack. The Lord speaks to me and lets me know they need just a little bit of extra tender, love and care. The Holy Spirits wisdom is far greater than the worlds. It takes time to just stop, take a breath, and tend to the kids. To see their cute little faces just blesses my heart, knowing His protection is more than enough.

I had cataract surgery October 26th. I was just about 3 years over due and the right eye, in particular, was really bad. We went in to see the eye doctor and she sent us to a specialist. We were very thankful to get in quickly. When we were speaking to her, I said yes to the operation, she pulled her calendar out and said "Ohhh, it looks like we don't have an appointment until January...". At this point, my husband and I are already delayed to come back to Palm Springs. I thought..."Oh no". Then the specialist said " but, we do have a cancellation October 26th". (This was about early October). She asked if I was interested, and I said "YES, YES, put us down please!" That was the Lords hand because He knew that people here were praying for us to come back and we were praying to come back, all in God's timing. He got us that early cancellation appointment! I was able to get both eyes done at the same time so therefore the healing and the appointments to come back for checkups were compressed and speeded up! The surgeon and nurses were all so positive, encouraging me with uplifting words of a successful surgery. And that's the way our Lord works. He can hold time still and I am so thankful. I didn't get the surgery for reading but the Lord has blessed me in that area. I can read my bible without any eyeglasses and I can see the road signs!  I feel like I have the vision of a 30 year old in my 70's! At one point I was carrying 3 different strengths of eyeglasses, with me, in my purse because I was having vision problems. It was all such a blessing and we know all good things come from our Lord God. Jesus our Savior!

Last Sunday during service I was baptized. Before I went up and got in the water, I was nervous. Being in front of people isn't really my thing. Pastor Tim prayed and prophesied over me; that I am a leader to the youth and to all I encounter. It was a new feeling to me when I came up out of the water. Jesus made me new and I will never be the same!

The other week at church, a lady came up for prayer needing healing in her neck and ears. She was having pain for over a month but Dr. Jesus showed up and did what He does best! All her pain was instantly gone! Her face of tears gave thanks to the wonder and gratitude of God Almighty! We are believing for a greater outpouring of healing power from heaven. Don’t stop believing, now is the time for salvation!

Last week, at basketball practice, I was minding my business while coaching the boys. As we had a timeout, one of the dads there was telling me how much his shoulders are jacked up from previous sports injuries. I realized this because I saw him trying to shoot a basketball, lol. He showed me how little his range of motion was. He couldn't raise his shoulders past parallel and after a few short prayers he had full range of motion!  Just a reminder when you think God is not ready to move, He is. Always be ready!

I had congestive heart failure and was diagnosed with RSV. After pastors prayed with me for healing, my chest started to feel clear and not over worked. 12/23 the nurse said I had no irregular heart beat, my heart is pumping strong and that the RSV is gone! What a miracle! Praise the Lord!

Sunday service 12/4 - Pastor Fred spoke about how the works of darkness robs us of our sleep and that God wants perfect rest for us. With praying and believing, last night I dreamt of my earthly father, my daddy, and I woke up feeling so happy!! Thank you Jesus!!!

Beginning of January 22, I started falling a lot. Always the same way- face down. Skinned knees, elbows and bloody nose. It was determined that I had drop foot in my right leg. My doctor prescribed to me a foot and leg brace. Which I never received. For quite a while, nothing changed. My wife and I also added many prayers. We went to our time share, mid April, to Cabo San Lucas. A family of 6 was leaving on a cart and while we were sitting there waiting for the next cart, we notice a jacket on the bench left behind by the family. I jumped up, shouting and running after their cart showing them the jacket. They were very thankful. I returned to my wife and she said "do you realize that you just ran full speed ahead". I said "I did?". Then I realized my prayers were answered. No more drop foot. Thank you Jesus!

Sunday, October 30th, 2022, I had the privilege to baptize six people who were ready for a fresh start with Jesus! The Holy Spirit showed me a vision over one of them; that God was going to use them to reach their entire family! They had been praying for the salvation of their loved ones and God had not forgotten about them! After I spoke this word, tears were streaming down their eyes as they were baptized! It was a beautiful site to see! What a privilege it is to serve in Gods kingdom!

Sunday, October 9th, 2022, I crashed my mountain bike and broke my collarbone. It has been painful and hard to do my job; cleaning and servicing swimming pools. This past Sunday, after service, Pastor Fred prayed over me. That night I slept better! I woke up Monday, able to move my arm. The pain is just about gone! I am also able to work & lift my equipment easier. All the glory and thanks be to God!
